Fun and Functional Outdoor Living Space

This fun and functional outdoor living space was one of our most challenging projects. When we first saw this backyard it was essentially unusable. It was on such an incline that the previous owners of the home never knew what to do with it. It required us to be very creative in the design and building process. Originally the design was multi-layered and complex, but then we simplified it into two levels. The end result is an extremely fun and functional outdoor living space. We built a retaining wall to hold everything in place and added beautiful all-natural stone steps on the slope. We installed functional new features to space such as new french doors for outside access, a new paver patio, grill station, and a seat wall. We also added some super fun features to the outdoor space including a putting green, firepit area and spa.
